Help us welcome Matt Hanel to our Service Department team! Matt is the new Diesel Technician Intern at our Warren location.
Matt grew up in Warren and attended high school in Grand Forks. He still resides in Warren, and will attend the John Deere Diesel Technician program NDSCS in the upcoming months. Matt will intern at True North Equipment full time, until he is enrolled as a student. He became interested in the John Deere Tech program and True North Equipment and explains, “I have always liked fixing equipment such as vehicles, tractors, small engines, atvs, and boat motors. My interest for the tech program came from my dad mentioning that John Deere had Internships, and I was planning on farming till next year and then figure out what to do. I called True North in Warren and Job-Shadowed for a day and instantly enjoyed it. All the workers helped me out and I ended up putting a engine and transmission into a 8300. This Tech program would give me a chance to have a great career with awesome benefits”. Additionally, Matt worked at an area farm.
