Harvest Pro-Tips -- Part Two

posted on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 in Blog

Welcome back to part two of our 'Harvest Ready Tips' series! This week we have tips from some of the area's most experienced service technicians, salesmen and parts experts.

Kyle Britton, Service Technician, Resident Combine Expert

Don't expect to pull out of the shed and go right to the field. Make sure you've prepared everything correctly so you don't end up doing it the middle of a field. Also, don't put off service issues. If you see something that is starting to go, get it fixed right away. Don't wait, it could end up causing other areas to quit functioning, and leave you with a lot more issues than you bargained for.

Joe Briedenbach, Grand Forks Ag Sales

Utilize John Deere's full suite of apps, including; JDLink, Operations Center and GoHarvest. And when in doubt, pull out your machine's original app, the owner's manual.

Kipp Loeslie, Grand Forks Integrated Solutions Specialist

Take a class to refresh your memory! If you think you may be a little rusty at running the technology in your machine, we're here to help.

Darcy Nygard, Kennedy Mobile Service Technician

Save your local parts and service department's phone numbers in your phone. We're here to keep you running! Also, get off-season inspections on your combines, tractors and sprayers.

Waylin Olson, Kennedy Ag Sales

Make sure you have all of your technology updated!

Dan Gorder, Owner/President

Have fun and be safe! We're here to make sure you keep running throughout the entire harvest season!
