Michael Askelson, Service Technician - Mahnomen

We’re happy to announce, Michael Askelson has joined the Service Department at our Mahnomen location!

Michael brings with him quite a bit of experience, as he worked as an automotive technician for Webber Family Motors in Detroit Lakes for many years. grew up in Twin Valley and now resides with his wife and family in Mahnomen. Additionally, they farm and ranch about 600 acres and have 120 head of bison. went to school at Norman County East in Twin Valley and attended college at Nascar Technical Institute in Mooresville, NC. He says he’s excited about the good people to work with and the growth opportunities True North Equipment provides.

Fun facts about Michael:

1. When not working, you’ll probably find him farming, working on pastures, managing his bison herd, haying, fishing, woodworking, hunting or spending time with family.
2. He has happy childhood memories of spending time at his grandparents’ farms.
3. His most memorable vacation was Blue Ridge Parkway.
4. Bucket list item – Hunting in Alaska.
