Safety First
You all know that farm safety is an extremely important aspect of life around the farm and in farming communities.
We're happy to be a resource in each of the communities we serve. Throughout the month of July, ahead of fall harvest, we're encouraging everyone to chat with their children about safety on the farm and in their communities. No matter how you approach it, we encourage you to start a conversation.
Check out a few resources that we used while planning a farm equipment safety presentation at the Kittson County Fair's 'Kids Ag Day' on July 7.

Kids Safety @ the Fair!
Salesman Keith Urbaniak and Waylin Olson talk farm equipment safety at the Kittson County Fair.
Green Acres Dairy from Greenbush, MN shows kids about animal safety on the farm.
Coloring sheets highlighting farm safety were sent home with all attendees.
Local ag-related businesses showed kids about farmyard, grainbin and chemical safety.
