Sales Support Specialist

True North Resource Center, Grand Forks, ND:

The Sales Support Specialist will work diligently to Support the True North Equipment Sales Department. This is an evolving position based on current and future Sales Department needs that are identified by the TNE Sales Leadership Team.

You’ll focus on:

  • Keeping our advertising updated in tandem with support from the Marketing Team

  • Updating our online marketing tools such as MFPro, Max Partners, and other 3rd party outlets

  • Travel 3+ times per week to all locations and ensure an attractive equipment display is maintained and to gather machine information and pictures 

  • Verifying machine stock numbers, hours, and options to match what is advertised by TNE

  • Work with trucking and logistics to move equipment internally and to customers as needed. This will include building relationships with outside transportation providers, obtaining quotes with a sense of urgency and timeliness, and looking for creative outlets

  • Assist with equipment logistics and organization with other wholesale outlets as needed

  • Assist with locating attachments and readying units

  • Assist with equipment to be sent to auction, and the logistics and timing of auction items

  • Working closely with our extended warranty providers such as PowerGard and MachineryScope on inspections, approving purchases, quoting etc.  This will include mastering the process from the beginning to end to assist sales and service.

  • Working closely with the Used Equipment Manager to determine what machines need to be moved to different locations to provide a good balance of inventory at all locations

  • Learning about your role and True North Equipment as a whole!  

What we are looking for:

  • Self-starter, motivated, energetic personality

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Must be able to effectively organize time each day and handle multiple projects continually

  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions

  • Familiar with John Deere and competitive products

  • Should possess knowledge of multi-medias

  • Must be able to drive equipment 

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and able to drive True North Equipment Company owned vehicles

  • Must be able to obtain a medical card for hauling situations

  • Ability to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, and some Saturday’s as needed

  • Pay Range: $20.00-$25/hr+ depending on years of experience, company cell phone, ipad, and computer.
