On a daily basis you will provide high level customer service support, which will contribute to the efficient and profitable operations of True North Equipment, and help our customers to be successful in their businesses.

Daily Activities:

  • Verify all stock order shipments and put them in their assigned area as they arrive 
  • Merchandising displays
  • Help monitors shortages and expedites processing through reporting to Parts Manager
  • Assist in keeping parts department clean & organized
  • Sell and deliver bulk oil and other products to customers farm locations
  • Help internal team members with their daily parts needs
  • Assist with after-hours customer and technician parts needs as needed in peak seasonal times
  • Assist in answering phones
  • 7:30am-5 or 5:30pm (seasonal changes) Monday through Friday, and every other Saturday 8:00am-12pm
  • Reliable attendance is must

Things that will help you succeed in the role:

  • John Deere parts experience
  • Excellent customer service skills are a must to be succesful at True North Equipment
  • Basic data entry/keyboarding skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience
  • Basic parts and machinery knowledge
  • Ability to use the John Deere computer applications and programs
  • Forklift training 
  • Valid driver’s license required, must be able to drive company vehicles
  • May need to obtain a medical card for hauling purposes

Compensation:

  • $15-$23.50/hr, depending on years of parts sales/agriculture experience
